MEET THE PANELISTS of FUZION 2013: Bo "Willie Wo" Ross.






Born in Jacksonville Florida, Willie”Bo” Ross began his entertainment career dancing and singing at family functions and church events. After his parents separated when he was 12, Bo moved to Brooklyn where the big city lights would Illuminate not only his eyes, but his future in the years to come. At age 15, after relocating from state to state with his little sister, he finished high school in Orange, New Jersey. He attended College at the Center for the media Arts where he studied audio engineering. In 1993 he began working at a The House of Music, a major recording studio in West Orange ,NJ. As an assistant engineer, worked with and alongside such greats as George Benson, Paula Abdul, Kool and The Gang, Wyclef Jean, The Fugees, Color Me Badd and many other platinum selling artist. After working on the SoSo Def promo team, Bo Ross through networking crossed over into the field of acting.

He has acted in many films from a thug in “Above the Rim with 2Pac Shakur”,” School of Rock” with Jack Black and” Dead President” with Lorenze Tate to an art dealer in “Basquiat” with Anthony Hopkins and a basketball coach in “The Silk Street Gang”, which also won the 2009 Audience Award in NYC Film Festival. He also portrayed a villain in” New York Undercover” with Ice T, as well as” Americas Most Wanted” and several other TV shows, music videos and numerous commercials. To stay sharp he fine tunes his acting skills by performing major roles in musicals such as “Gorgeous Mosaic”,” Sonny’s Place”, “Another River Flows” and countless plays and dramas for various school systems.

His most recent initiative and achievement is becoming the C.O.O. of Shore Klub Entities which is the parent company for a record label and an entertainment marketing, promotion and management company. With a clothing line in the works, he helps young at risk youth see their potential and talents while advising them and introducing them to the positive possibilities of their future. While this may seem like alot , since the future of our youth is a personal passion that drives him, he himself admits making many misguided decisions as a teenager that carried over into adulthood and hindered his quest for stardom. But along with his respect within the Industry and a new community based acting company he co-founded, “the Drama Scene”, he promises to be a positive influence in the lives of many in communities all over the world.
