UPWARD BOUND, ALLENTOWN III.....And so it begins....
UPWARD BOUND, ALLENTOWN III is a multi-cultural celebration being held on
August 28, 2010 between 6th and 7th Streets on Hamilton Street from 10:00am-6:00pm. This event will highlight the positive aspects of the Allentown community.
Music, food, children's activities, local performers, artists, and community organizations, will be on hand. This will be a day of entertainment, as well as education!
We are currently seeking bands, performers, and food and craft vendors. In addition, small / large businesses and community organizations are encouraged to come out and introduce yourself to the public and obtain new clientele and contacts.
This event is FREE to the public. There will be a mini-stage for local entertainers to perform, as well as speeches from the area youth. Local politicians and community leaders will be invited to give short addresses, also.
The proceeds will benefit the participating organizations and groups.
Again, the event will be held August 28, 2010 on Hamilton Street between 6th and 7th Street from 10:00am -6:00pm.
