Anthony Marte, born in September 9, 1980, lead vocalist and first guitar of group called (Adyktion). As a Latino musicisian from his beloved country Dominican Republic and raised in New York. At age 12 he started writing compositions and playing the guitar. Also throuout his career he has composed songs for other different groups. Anthony's idea is to make music from the heart, about love. Adyktion is a bachata group, But that does not mean we have one type of flavor no, the group focused a bit more on the female’s feelings side, like the beautiful flower that the woman really is caressing their pedals with beautiful bachatas that will reach their hearts and souls. Anthony believes that a truthful song is the one composed from the heart and from real life experience. His next song relates to a bittersweet story named “Buscando un Amor”. People ask where the name Adyktion comes from...
Adyktion was born from wanting to do what Anthony does best which is to play guitar, compose songs. Christian Ortiz or better known as "El Chris de la Bachata" descended from Puerto Rico, born in February 22, 1984. Since the age of 9 Christian was attracted by the guitar inspired by his father who stills plays. Many years later Christian and Anthony had the pleasure of meeting each other and from there both driven by the passion of music Christian came to be part of the group Adyktion.
