His name is Terry Wilson and he began to DJ while in college. He did college parties, boat rides, house parties, skating parties, fashion shows etc. and also worked at a record shop during that time. He DJ'ed from 1981 to 1986 doing the college circuit. He was in high demand and almost every weekend he and his partner were doing events. Terry returned home, with equipment in tow, in 1986 with his college and DJ'ing experience. He was "saved/born again" during this time, and decided to live life differently.
He, soon, realized that there were no Gospel DJ's available. He figured that with so many Christians getting married and there being no Christian DJ's available, he could easily fill that void. So, he decided to get into Christian music. He, still, utilized his current jazz collection started obtaining instrumental Gospel jazz for Christian weddings, cocktail hours, and receptions. He branched out and started utilizing Gospel hip-hop/rap for the young adults and teenagers. It was enjoyed by all and the word spread about a Gospel DJ, named Terry Wilson. This prompted him to expand his collection to include: Club Gospel, Gospel House music, Gospel Reggae/ Calypso, Gospel Latin, and Gospel Jazz.
He founded a mobile Gospel DJ company entitled: DGE Entertainment. They travel all over the region. He has been in the Gospel DJ business for over 23 years and is still going strong!
