- THE "LEHIGH VALLEY SOMEBODY" BLOG
I have always been told that "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" or "the older one gets, the more maturity one will develop", unfortunately, this is neither true nor correct when it comes to this guy named Bill Villa.
Now, for those of my READERS, who don't know, Bill is a very sad and unstable individual who had the misfortune of losing a loved one. Since then, he has used every opportunity to "blast" anyone who disagrees with his thoughts, ideas, and advice.
He calls it "EXPOSURE", but in reality, it's what we in the 'hood call BITCHASSNESS.
"BITCHASSNESS" - Overall stank actions towards others through words, facial expressions, and/or song. Symptoms include: thinking your better than those around you, not speaking your true feelings, throwing large amounts of shade.
Now, to be fair, this is ONLY done through his WIFE'S blog, LEHIGH VALLEY SOMEBODY, www.bloggingdottie.blogspot.com because in the REAL world, NO ONE takes him seriously. Their blog supposedly champions the injustices of the poor, women, and minorities but they spit out about as much hate as the KKK. This blog is full of loathing, gossip, and pettiness. They are like spoiled kids who can't get their way so they whine until SOMEBODY pays attention. Go figure....
My dear Readers, PLEASE go to their blog and add points to their highly coveted award of being the #1 MOST INFLUENTIAL POLITICAL BLOG IN PENNSYLVANIA. (That and
50 cents STILL won't buy you a cup of coffee because NO ONE REALLY CARES...)
Again, to be fair, they have some rather interesting accusations and historical facts that does make one think, but are they reporting it due to public interest/concern or mere animosity towards these people ?
Now, I can only speak for myself because I KNOW I haven't done any harm to them but for some reason they felt the need to come at me like a ferocious pit bull.

Well, in truth, I am a promoter, event coordinator, marketing specialist, and have a little popularity in the area, so if they have bestowed me with the new title,
"PUBLICITY WHORE", I will wear it like a badge of honor because it seems Bill Villa singled me out purposely; like he did at the last CHEN ARTS SHOW on 6/7/09 at the ALLENTOWN MUSEUM where he ran me down on my way out and asked me to say negative things about his "so-called" enemies in my e-newsletter, Lehigh Valley Flavor, www.lehighvalleyflavor.piczo.com, because, apparently, his wife's blog doesn't have enough credibility, and I guess because "misery loves company." He, also, asked me to boycott the City's newspaper, the Morning Call, because of the racist comments that often appear on their blogosphere. (I often battle this by going on line and going head to head with the ANONYMOUS bloggers themselves; GOOGLE: Alfonso Todd and see some of my fearless exploits) I told him no and and I guess that may be where the HATERISM started.
"HATERISM" - Displaying hate for the next individuals success as a result of ones own short comings; A wall post on the internet or something said aloud which makes the victim look bad in front of a large group of people
You see, I thought by staying neutral when everyone told me how "crazy" the Villas tend to be, freely promoting/marketing their events, and even attending/supporting their functions, I was doing "right" by them, but in reality they must have mistaken my kindness for weakness.
My words of advice for this "happy" couple is THIS:
STOP BELIEVING YOUR OWN HYPE
Instead of wondering what others are doing, getting upset when people have opinions that differ from yours, and planning various devious methods of blog character assassination, you should be practicing what you preach and TRULY be out in the community and MAKING THINGS HAPPEN. (And sorry, The CHEN ARTS GROUP is a COLLECTIVE effort that, due to to your need for attention, seems to have lost as many supporters as it has gained)

Since you cannot seem to control yourself when it comes to "blog-attacking" individuals who have nothing to do with your petty squabbles, beliefs, and opinions, you REALLY need to seek out a therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or the like.
As for me, I have determined that it would be in my best interest not to go to your blogsite anymore because anything that you could write or rant about is worth LESS than NOTHING in my eyes, you are not worth the time or effort for any future correspondence, and I will not take part in ANY of your future plans or projects;
because I KNOW while you are TALKING about future art shows and fundraisers, I will be DOING events like regional conferences and uplifting workshops for young ladies and women in our community.

Perhaps the worst thing they've done in their now five-part expose about me is recommend I commit suicide. They claim I'm metallly ill, not an alcoholic, and have never been treated. Then they go on to recommend suicide. Nice people.
Another thing they've been doing is contacting those they think may know me or read my blog. Several of these folks have reported some very nasty exchanges with this duo of cyber-bullies.
Now people like you are tormented simply bc you have not condemned me.

alfonso, you do not have to commit any offense to be their enemy. in my case, they became aggressive after i refused to take their side ( or any side ) when they had a spate with bernie o'hare. first they stated on topix that my motives for working on fairview cemetery were for political attention. although they apologized for that, they continued harassing. for speaking back, as you just did, i became an official enemy. now they routinely accuse me of racism and send endless insults to my blog, which i must now moderate. i wouldn't believe the "historical facts" on their blog. they may use a real name, but then they weave a tale to suit their agenda. they write about social justice, but every issue is just a means to justify their aggression.
in regard to the blog ratings, there is only one real person, dave baun,(itz me dave) who comments there, all the others are pen names created by villa. they apparently (probably baun also) spend every day on multiple computers rating themselves up and others down. obsession is a bitch. their blog often refers to the death and violence against their enemy list; broken jaws, dying off from old age, coking, etc. unfortunately, certain public officials have refused to repudiate them and their statements, conversely enabling them.
Bernie and Mike, the only way I could feel tormented by them is if I acknowledged them. If anything, I felt sorry for them and NOW I will have NOTHING to do with them...

The wrath of Villa will undoubtedly soon descend upon your blog.
Hard to have compassion for a guy who has probably alienated 99% of the people who have ever met him post his daughter's tragedy.
However he is not the only one and life does move on. I used to support him and prefer to stay completely away from him and his wife.
This guy has ruined so much I do not know if the blog world in Allentown will ever recovery from his psychopathological rage.
Be forewarned once he reads these comments he will go into full tilt mode and will assume at least a few of perhaps 50 different nome de plumes.

(1) The thing I've been doing is 100% completely ignoring them. It's drives them nutz (not that they have far to go)
(2) Blocked their emails
What's even sadder, they out their own posters or anyone who visits their site.
About the only thing I can say is if you truly want to drive them to madness ignore them completely
By doing so they will get more and more desperate and completely slip their trolley. Defending yourself or giving them even a sliver of attention is exactly what they seek.

Funny thing. I knew Villa back in the day. He was a drunk and partier who had to stop himself. He ended up losing his marriage and kids.

This just goes to show that since they can't entice anyone to their blog, they have to desperately go to other person's sites to spread the word about their negative writings. I still am wondering where is their championing of the poor, women, and minorities in all of this confusion. It seems to me they are causing more harm than good to the people they "supposedly" represent.
And since it's out here now, let me just let them know, ahead of time, this article has been blasted on Facebook, Myspace, and will be the lead story on the September issue of LV Flavor on Tuesday.

* CHEN ARTS GROUP. Isn't "losing members" (as if Alfonso O'Hare would know). CHEN is gaining new members all the time as Alfonso O'Hare saw for hisself at Chen's most recent smasheroo opening at The Allentown Art Museum, i.e., a packed wall-to-wall house on a Sunny Sunday Summer afternoon.
* At that event, I did indeed "collar" Alfonso (who tried to slither in and out w/ out being noticed by me) and I politely asked him to consider not commenting at O'Hare's blog anymore-- much like the appeal of this blog post, i.e., to stop legitimizing O'Hare by associating w/ him. At no time did I ask Alfonso to say "negative things about my enemies list" at Alfonso's monthly newsletter blog. Could I just calmly say two things?
1) I am not Bill Villa. But I have known him for 30+ years. He was best man at my wedding.
2) Nobody here is addressing the genesis of this whole situation.
Every time I step back to objectively assess the goings-on - yeah, I have an open mind and I hear your side saying he's nuts, he's too harsh, he's a bully - I think of my 5- and 8-year-old daughters, and I start to cry. The sheer terror and horror of what happened to Sheena and her family is, well, I have no words for it. I picture Sheena Villa in the hospital, her head horribly swollen while her brain literally deflates in what's left of her skull. Bill and her family standing by the hospital bed.
And then Jim Martin allegedly tries to fix the case for Sheena's killer drunk driver Robert LaBarre because he's connected??? LaBarre goes AWOL to Belize for a 10-day vacation while out on bail???
Come on, guys! My hands are shaking right now just trying to type this! You have kids, right? Picture them in the hospital, skull and brain ruined. Picture their killer sunning himself in Belize while awaiting trial, perfectly at ease because daddy's friend is on the case.

Anyway, Bernie just called me at work and we had a civil conversation. He wanted to check and make sure I wasn't Bill Villa. He expressed concern about Bill's state of mind, and I expressed concern about certain particulars of the LaBarre case not seeming to bother anybody except the Villas.

Yes, I did track down Jesse Smith and talk to him. And as he admitted, he is too far away to really understand what is going on. I don't mind him sticking up for a friend, but Jesse, Villa has been his own worst enemy. You are correct. They deserved to be listened to. But I am not qualified to listen to people that exhibit this type of behavior. I leave that to professional medical doctors.

It is INDEED a VERY VERY tragic loss and a situation I wouldn't want ANYONE to EVER have to go through, but they did go through the court of law and, even if there WAS a conspiracy against the Villas, is there not a more PRODUCTIVE way of expressing and publicizing their displeasure with the ruling than calling people names and insulting people on blogs ? It's a shame, because I, too, believed they were a decent family and NEVER said one word against them and this is how I am treated ? They call me a PUBLICITY WHORE because I am a promoter and market my businesses on the internet ? Yesterday, I deleted about fifty or so Villa rants posted on my blog. Since August 9, his blog has been devpterd exclusively to trying (and failing) to tear me down. He has emailed numerous of my friends with his complaints about me. He has peppered this blog post alone with his hate, always posted anonymously. He has recommended I commit suicide. And this asshole claims that I am emotionally torturing a grief-stricken family?
The reality is that Villa tortures anyone and everyone who does not immediately and unreservedly flock to his banner. He has driven away nearly every person who tried to help him.
I have tortured no one. I have just refused to go along with his hate and his ridiculous conspiracy theories.

I am very saddened by the way the remarks has deteriorated. The remark made towards me was uncalled for. But most especially, the remarks made to Mr. Villa, a very conflicted person, are even worse. These remarks are not something to be proud of. I hope all of you have a change of heart and replace your anger with charity.

i just received my morning email from villa in which he states "Your Next". here's what he wrote one year ago:
"I admitted and apologized to Michael for having posted several anonymous "snarks" at him recently that called into question his motives regarding Fairview Cemetery, i.e., that he was using Morning Call and "Blogger Tuesday" publicity re: Fairview to further his mayoral aspirations. It was wrong of me to do this considering I don't have any proof. I did it out of frustration that MM (who I had considered a friend) wasn't publicly defending me when Bernie O'Hare quashed my Morning Call dissent in his posts of August 1 and August 8 when MC Opinions VP Glenn Kranzley was "visiting" LV Ramblings for feedback from Bernie's readers."
now you know my crime and how much villa's apology is worth. villa doesn't like people who, like alfonso or myself, speak back to his attacks. they have publicly stated that their blog was started as a vehicle for their justice mission against the district attorney. how unfortunate that the "chensters" are now allowing the villa's to use the art group for the same purpose.
Alfonso - Being on any side of Villa is not a good thing. Evil does not have a side. You are either a part of it or not.

I used to appreciate O'Hare's site, but quite honestly after his last go round on the "poli" or swab blog, I think his creditability is just as low as Villa's.
As good as some of O'Hare's stuff is he always, in the end, has to call attention to himself and beg to be noticed. He has failed to control his impulses and view himself objectively.
Hubris is a dangerous thing especially in the highly narcissistic blogsphere.
The best way to deal with fleas like Villa is to ignore them. Only post about him anonymously.

So you are saying you condone anonymous posting towards Villa? How will that help anything? I disagree with your advice. I think that will just add fuel to the fire. I think this is the heart of the problem: the anonymous comments and accusations of who are making and contributing towards them.
If you want to help, there has to be accountability and open communications. Breaking the rules are not going to solve problems.
Stick to the high road. Even if you fail, at least you have your self respect and nothing to be ashamed of, because you didn't break any rules.

The latest go round on the poliblog started when Joe Hilliard thanked me for posting a video of his comments to Allentown City Council. Villa responded w/ his usual hate, and VDSM joined in. "I ... know him as a pathological liar. It has been documented by the State Supreme Court, and his behavior has not changed in over two decades." She was parroting Villa's crap.
I defended myself. Casey jumped in, called me a cockroach, challenged me to respond to some accusation about his fantasy novel killing me, and then disabled comments.
After this, I was taunted in a new post. Casey again challenged me to explain why I was so upset by a fantasy novel in which he murders me. I explained. While this was going on, Villa was posting comments suggesting I commit suicide, clearly delighted by all the hate.
Then Casey deleted all comments, disabled commentary again, and posted a new blog claiming this time that I had hijacked his blog by responding to him. Then Casey disappeared yet again.
Should I have ignord the hate? Should Alfonso ignore it, too?
The general rule is to ignore trolls, whether they are Villa, Casey or VDSM. Answering them feeds the fire. But being only human, I will sometimes respond, and understand why Alfonso felt the need to do so here. When we respond, we get attacked for that, too, and the new anonymous claim is that our "creditability" suffers. I'd take that criticism a little more seriously if it were spelled properly.
Stop spending so much time talking about this issue. It is a moot point.
You all want to interact sanely with an insane individual.
And find yourselves incredulous when he does not come around and respond the way YOU think he should.
Stoop to his level and you will be treated the same as he is.

Father Alex is not chasing anyone around, although it is his vocation to go after those who need help most. For that, he's been impersonated and smeared with all kinds of ugly and vile comments from Villa. He's also been sent harassing email.
To a truly neutral outsider, it is easy to just pop in and slam us all. Try experiencing it. I've had my blog for over three years. You think I've never heard that you don't feed the trolls? Try getting off that anonymous perch, post under your own name and watch what happens. It is only human, from time to time, to want to defend yourself.
How would you like to see someone encourage you to commit suicide? How would you like being called a slum lord? How would you like being accused of molesting little boys? Or like Alfonso, how would you like being called a shameless publicity whore and worse? You can't even post under your own name, and are telling people who do to get thicker skin. That's rich.
We've all done it. I've done it. MM has done it. Donovan has done it. AJ Cordi and NLVLogic have all felt obliged to speak out. And now Alfonso has done it.
Perhaps he did not like the name he was called and felt it was necessary to say that. Don't judge us until you've experienced what we've experienced.

I hope you don't live a life with this as your credo? With thinking like that, people of the Old and New Testament and people of all countries in the Ancient, Medieval, and Modern eras would not have progress to what the world is today.
That is great sense/logic. I have better logic almost as good.
If you are just going to get dirty everyday, why bother to even take a shower? Don't bathe? Why bother? Just give up.

The Gospel became clearer, when I witnessed it in action in the old country. I think I may have used this example before.
I witnessed a sheperd leave his heard. He descended down the side of a mountain. He gathered the ONE lamb that had wandered away. He put it on his shoulders and ascended up the mountain. Then he placed the lost lamb with the others. Only then was he satisfied. But he had to leave the WHOLE herd to save the one.

How does one respond to such hate?
If a seed begets a seedling and a fertilzed egg begets a human being; life starts very early under the protection of our mother. After birth, most people have the benefit of being nurtured to grow into strong and smart human beings under the auspice of loving parents.
All life is precious, from the moment of inception until (natural) death.
Your hate won't bring your loved ones back. And it won't solve your problems. When it is all finished, your hate will only cause you to be alone; angry and sad.
Life is too precious to spend it hating another. Sin is done by all men. It is apart of being associated with the human race. I only know of the two that walked on water: Jesus and Simon Peter. And Simon Peter had some help from The Holy Trinity.
I am not looking forward to the time when I am judged. The worse thing God could do to me, is put me in front of a mirror, and ask me to judge myself. And who would even think about lying or hiding something from The All Knowing and All Loving God?
Prepare yourself in this life for that moment. Because you, and especially you of all people, never know when that time will come forth.
Mary is the new Eve and Jesus is the new Adam; our parents. Irregardlessly of wrong or right, your parents always loved you. We run to protection given by the Blessed Mother Mary. And she intercedes to her Son on our behalf. In times of trouble, we have them. And all the angels in Heaven rejoice when a sinner repents and embraces Christ.
We have so much to be thankful for. God gave us free will to do what we want. That is how much He loves us. But if we drift too far from him, one way or another we will get called back. I rather be on the good side of Him; honoring, obeying, and yet fearful. I can't walk on water. Therefore, I can't judge. And I can't even explain our roles in his master plan. But I at least know, I am here to honor the precious life that He gave unto us.
May God have mercy on your and all of our souls.

It's really dishonest how Alfunso does not provide the "context" for Bill Villa's "quote" either in his blog here or in his monthly e-newsletter. Yes, Mr. Villa calls Alfunso a "shameless publicity whore." Why? Alfunso doesn't say. Its b/c Alfunso continues to defend O'Hare and bask in that spotlight of O'Hare's 600 blog readers...after learning what O'Hare did to a fellow black man, George Usury, which got O'Hare disbarred. I see Mr. Villa has added a new "quote" to describe Todd: Uncle Tom.
Both of Villa's "quotes" make perfect sense to me.
villa goes back and forth, as with his link to the commentator. there is no comparison with a tasteless comment about a fictitious person and calling alfonso an uncle tom. this is alfonso's reward for supporting the villa's at various functions? only in villa's twisted mind would alfonso or anybody have to discredit people villa doesn't like. villa's enemy list continues to grow as more people speak out against his harassment.

minority communities in allentown can relax from their anti-discrimination efforts because bill and angie villa have taken up the task to declare who is racist. anybody who ever comments on the unmoderated chat room allentown commentator must be racist because there does appear there, from time to time, rather ignorant, tasteless comments. a dedicated school board member, who is married to a hispanic, has been deemed a racist by the villa's. alfonso todd, who has made a career out of empowering center city residents, mostly black and hispanic, and featuring their contributions to the community, has been declared an uncle tom.
The Villas are correct on both counts, it's just that nobody wants to admit it. Only they have the courage to expose the things they do and I applaud them.
Alfonso's master, Bernie O'Hare, was disbarred for emotionally torturing a black man for two years.

Anywho, that is not my style.

OK, so i visit your blog and there is actually a link to a picture of a yacht under the post about the settlement in the death of your daughter. You are a class act. You are actually bragging about the money you received. Unless you bought that Yacht for MADD, you are indeed the scumbag the rest of us have always believed you are. Were you not a SCUMBAG, you would use that money to fund a campaign against Martin, or open a legitimate media outlet to compete with the morning call, or donate to a worthy cause, but instead you brag about your wealth.
